New year, new beginnings. And not just because it's a new year, but because there's JC next year, and it's been a year where I've... lost, a lot of things. It honestly felt like the longest year of my life, I don't even remember things that happened only recently, and NCC felt like it was ages ago, in fact, 411 feels like it was ages ago. But it... just happened. Wow.
2011 has been a crazy year, I've met a lot of people, lost a lot of people, I've left some of the things that have been the biggest constants in my life for the past few years. And in some ways I really think it's been an amazing year. Thks fr th mmrs, 2011 ♥ (And that is one of the many things I have discovered in 2011.)
2011 in sections of my life that mattered.
1) NCC.
I put 'academia' first, thinking it was the biggest part of my life, then I realised that that was a lie. It was... our last year of NCC. I've said it before, but putting the word 'last' in front of something doesn't necessarily make it more important. What important was that this year, Jermaine and I together groomed our next batch of leaders (: It's been crazy, but it's been wonderful. Thank you Part Cs (: Remember: we trust you, we believe in you, and you guys are going to be amazing. It's going to be hard, but it's going to be worth it, and you are more than you think you are. And I'm not saying this because I always do, but I always say it because I believe it.
There's not going to be any more NCC, which would be a shock, but it's been a few months and I guess I've been numbed to the fact that NCC is no longer. I don't miss NCC, and I would miss hanging out with my platoonmates and just being crazy, but that implies that I no longer do that, and that's a lie. We may not have the adhesive that is NCC to stick us together, but we have the longer-lasting, far more amazing adhesive known as 'friendship'. Guess what matters (:
So. It's the last year of NCC. Which isn't important. It's the year where I continued to love my platoon, learnt to love another platoon, and made memories worth keeping. That's important (:
Also being a ~*leader*~ has made me realise what leadership truly means, and I just want to thank all our previous seniors, specifically Stephania Jingwen Julie Eewen and Sophia, Stephania, Jingwen, Julie, and Eewen for being amazing A/PSes who put up with all our bullshit; Julie, Eewen, and Sophia for sticking with us way past their NCC days. And also - sorry, for being a jerk and kind of a bitch and being the worst possible junior. And thanks for putting up with that, too.
It's been a long ride, but it's been worth it. ♥ I can't put it all into words, but NCC, thanks for everything. Platoonmates, juniors, seniors, thank you too (: ♥
2) Academia
Academia. I think this year I truly found where my strengths lie, and I've been able to expound on them more. I'm nowhere near smart, but I've improved a lot since sec 1, and there's something that's very important to me: I learnt to learn. I learnt that there's a lot more to being smart than just being academically excellent, and while I always knew this I suppose I never inculcated that fact into my life. And now that I truly, truly know this, living's a lot more worth it, learning's a lot more enjoyable, and education is a lot less tiring. Honestly I still don't agree with our system, but I think about it and I don't think there's any solutions I can offer. Problems, I have plenty, solutions, I have none. And that's another thing I learnt - give solutions, not problems. Complaints don't make the world progress half as quickly as solutions do.
Well... that's. All I have to say really. It really took up a huge portion of my life, though, worrying about grades and working for them. Being happy for my near-perfect grades (they're perfect to me at least) and being disappointed with my not-so-perfect ones. And I think at the end of it all I am proud of myself, for working hard and doing okay-well and in the end understanding and appreciating learning (:
And if I could talk about learning there is so. much. more. I've really learnt to appreciate languages, and that has guided me in the learning of them. I am still only barely fluent in English, but grades show that my Chinese and French has improved tremendously, and my understanding and increased patience when it comes to Japanese has shown similar results (although I still barely understand it). I used to rush a lot with my languages, but now I'm far more patient with them, and it's gone from interest to honest passion and I like that. I've also gone back to books! Which is by all means great. I went from reading a book every 2 days to none at all between P6 and sec 1, and now I'm back to a few books a week (: And it's glorious, to be sucked so freely into prose and just live outside my own world for a while.
Learning, in the purely living sense and in no way to do with smarts. I've learnt to appreciate life and to be open-minded. My main 2 mottos are now 看得开 and 知足, which are fantastic mottos to live by if I do say so myself. I don't think I've become overly positive, but I am definitely more appreciative of the infinite possibilities that is life and I've definitely become less negative. (Less negative and more positive are not the same things!) And I'd like to believe that I've become a better person over the years as well, but that may be wishful thinking.
3) People who know I exist
- Platoonmates: thanks for putting up with me, and being great people. We've been through a lot and we'll go through more together. I love you people, and we're more than what we think we are ♥ This year has been tough, with the sudden thrust of leadership upon us, but I think we'll all agree that we came out of it okay, and we're proud of ourselves. We've accomplished more than we thought we ever could, not just this year but in all the previous ones as well, and that, obviously, makes me proud (: Also special shoutout to the people whom I've worked with very closely over the past year, namely Vicheese, Jessceline, Shiying/Weiqi (GET A PAIRING NAME DAMMIT), and my darling favourite Jermaine ♥♥♥
- AB4: quoth myself, "I guess one of the scariest things about taking over is the fact that suddenly, your mindset has to advance from "for the platoon" to "for the unit" in the span of one day." And I still agree with that. But we believe in you. Work hard, and as Jermaine has put it very aptly on Twitter, make us proud (: We've watched you guys through your (arguably) toughest and most eventful year, and you guys have grown a lot from January to now, and we have no doubts at all that you guys will do an amazing job leading the unit (: Thanks for teaching me and Jermaine much much more than we ever taught you, and for being receptive of us, and for being the best juniors ever (:
- Classmates: things I regret but won't say: not having taken the time to really, really get to know some of my classmates. I don't know if it was RAM, but I feel like I never did take the time to really get to know everyone, and this year I've been able to really talk to everyone and I really think our class is amazing (: I can really talk to just about anyone in the class about anything, and I think that's special in its own (: Thanks to our class chairs who have beared with us throughout everything as well, and have worked hard at bringing us closer together!
- French classmates: BECAUSE WE REALLY ARE JUST ANOTHER BUNCH ALTOGETHER. Je vous aimez! C'est triste que nous ne aprendrons plus le français, oui? Merci pour étudier et pour réclamer avec moi, et encore, JE VOUS AIMEZ ♥
I... have more to say but I daren't. Hmmm.
To put it gently, for myself and for others, I've lost a lot of people this year due to the fact that friendships are dynamic things that have many factors influencing them. Some of them I'm glad to be rid of, and some of them I miss terribly. But really: good riddance to the worst, and I miss you terribly to the best. It's somewhat disappointing that I've lost more important people than I have insignificant ones, but that is the road of life.
4) Music. (Aka, people who don't know I exist)
To want to thank Taylor Swift for the year is kind of a strange and somewhat terrible decision HAHA but I do. Her music's helped me cope this year, and I can always relate to her lyrics, and I'm glad I've found her. I will continue to listen to Mine at least once a day (: Taylor Swift has been my go-to comfort music, my peaceful music, my music to listen to when I need some kind of hope injected in my life or when I want hope to level with mine. And that's all sorts of crazy but. Yes.
Also, Fall Out Boy. I still always listen to (Coffee's for Closers) all the time. And also Pretty in Punk because I am constantly quoting one line from it. I still don't really enjoy most of their music, but when something strikes a chord with me (not just in the musical sense) it strikes hard and clings onto me (:
I've been listening to a lot of English pop recently, namely OneRepublic, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, P!nk, Nicki Minaj, Alex Day, Tom Milsom. And I guess it's always good to deversify my choices!
I am debating with myself whether I should throw fandom under the music section but that is, musically, a bad choice. Oops. Wait I have more though!
Park Bom. Which people may tell me is a fandom thing and not a musical thing, but I guess what's special about Bom is that she touched me musically first. I don't remember the ~moment~ I fell in love with her, which is strange because with all my other major biases I have a specific moment. And well I always talk about how 2NE1 has immature songs ("they have lonely and ugly, they just need stupid and they'll cover the full spectrum of emotions for the average angsty teenager") but perhaps that's why I can relate. Ugly is still, always forever my jam. And I don't know how Bom fits in here but I am excessively proud of her because I truly believe she's one of those idols with the lowest self-esteem ever and I'm proud that she's standing on stage and singing her lungs out, doing what she wants to do, and I suppose that's what made me fall in love with her in a crazy way even I myself don't understand.
Also I am forever upset that I never caught up properly with UVERworld although this has been (I believe) their best year in terms of sales. I am also severely disappointed in fandom, but I guess because I'm in such a big fandom now (Arashi) that I see how UVERfandom lacks. ): I will do it within the next week PROMISE.
Music's played a big part of my life this year! I've just. Been able to relate and connect more to music, I think, and that. Is wonderful (:
5) Fandom! (Aka people who don't know I exist, Part 2.)
Oh gosh there's just. So many aspects to fandom now! I've definitely dropped in involvement from last year, just on the catching up aspect. And now I just barely follow one main fandom, and I just catch up briefly on the rest. Well. Haha.
I've talked a lot about the social networking aspect of fandom lately, especially with ~THE GREAT DREAMWIDTH MOVE OF 2011~, so I won't expound more on that (:
In any case, whether or not I catch up, one thing stays constant: the boys bring me great joy and I don't think I'll ever let them go. Now matter how shitty fandom is. The other day I was checking one of my concert files, and I fastforwarded right to the point in concert where they stand together as 5, join hands together, and raise them up, 4 Vs between 5 boys, and smile at the crowd, gratitude and joy shining off their faces and I just sat, enthralled for a moment, and started to tear. Because these boys are amazing.
I think my non-existent connection to the boys has deepened recently, which may be a bad thing, but I don't actually mind at all. Well. Let's just say fandom is an escape from a lot of terrible things in my life, and I like it that way. (:
2011 in a nutshell: I've grown and I've learnt and I'm still ridiculous but I'm happy (:
My resolutions of last year:
→ don't get too stressed
→ don't panic too much
→ if I do, keep holding on and don't crack yet
→ breaking all my bad habits
→ improving in character

→ ORD and graduate happy
First 3: compared to last year, done and done. I've been remarkably well this year, compared to last year, I think. And that's wonderful (: I think I've become a better person! Perhaps not to everyone else but. Ah well. I haven't stopped leg-shaking yet, but today is the day I shall swear to. And passing O's, welp. I'll find out in a week or so. And yes, I did ORD and graduate relatively happy, thanks for asking (:

Um was on tumblr and saw stuff about HanaDan and... I'm going to confess I really, really forgot what happened in the start of HanaDan. Like, maybe I just decided to shut it out of my brain, or I haven't watched HanaDan in ages, no seriously, but. Obviously it's problematic. I'm going to say that it's not wrong for Makino to have fallen in love with him though, because although Domyouji is a huge fucking jerk (and seriously okay reading about what happened is now convincing me that he is MORE THAN THAT), I still think that people accept that people change. And Makino did that. I read a secret once, somewhere, probably ljsecret, that someone forgave her rapist and is now married to him, and I don't think it's wrong at all. Because, um, well, it isn't. It takes a big heart, but I do think it's possible to fall in love with someone who has once abused you and/or is abusing you. (Love The Way You Lie, people?)
I don't think it's fucked that people fall in love with people who once tortured and abused them, both physically and mentally. Because that's not what's fucked, at least not in my opinion. What's fucked is that people could actually abuse others in the first place. Yes.
And, um, rape culture. Well. Makino being able to forgive her rapist may be seen as rape culture, yes. I can't say anything about that. But I just. Idk it happens. As much as it sucks.
I can't believe I've forgotten it's happened in the series though. Maybe because I wasn't as affected by this when I was younger. Now I'm far more aware and also very triggery so yea. Um I felt super uncomfortable reading about it, js.
ALSO because I have honestly forgotten about the trigger-scenes, I will continue to watch HYD final. In my headcanon, HanaDan only starts after Domyouji becomes less of a prick.

I've watched something from Idoling! I believe. But not memorable. Omg I jacked up my volume 'cos the front was silent but they were mouthing words! THEN IT BLASTED. I like this song! THEY'RE ALSO CAGED. Oh I definitely like this. The partial-group shots were awk though. Lolol I don't like the, non-dance shots oops. They're very big! I didn't know this lol. Omg they're under PONY CANYON. Um, I don't really like Pony Canyon lol. The song's nice! Every girl group should do fierce songs they're fabulous :D (Also it demonstrates versatility and a side of your idol you don't get to see :D It also attracts fans who don't like the cutesy style!) Guys. A Cracked article is in the 12.2011 edition of Readers' Digest. Um.
Sortie 3 today, and well. I thought my checks were okay but I thought I screwed up my air exercise but my instructor said it was okay! Hmm. My instructor was Liew KP again, even though Raman was totally there lol he was doing touch-and-gos in front of my face OTL. Flew Mike!
Hmm okay I'm definitely more confident for checks now! I've gotten the rhythm and flow down so I can pretty much do checks! Yea I did up till VABTO quite okay but I missed instrument checks on my first turn and I did it the second turn but Liew KP was like "WE NOT TURNING" BUT WE WERE TURNING, OKAY. Also being no.2 for taxy kind of unnerved me :/ Things I am lousy at. Also I only missed FILER checks once and this is like the first time I'm attempting FILER! So yea happy with myself for that :D
Managed to do R/T alllll the way, but Liew KP cut me right before established in area call to change to Bravo-Charlie. And I wanted to do rejoin but I didn't mug Bravo-Charlie! ATC started giving me a bunch of numbers and I was like "um. UM." -fail- And I did mug Bravo-Charlie actually I WAS JUST. REALLY BAD AT IT. I could've done it if it was from Alpha I SWEAR ): Um also I am lousy at switching frequencies. Things I must get used to. But yea basically the sheet of paper they told us "CONFIRM MUST MEMORISE" is DONE. (He tested during pre-flight brief!) Wootz wootz now I can go and mug Bravo-Charlie. ALSO GUYS I DID NOT FUCK UP THE CALLSIGN THIS TIME. I consciously practised at home with 80 just to prepare for something like this. :D
Also I suuuuck at lookout omg. But after that he started stressing me and I got better at it! Um there was once this plane came super fucking close but I didn't see it because it was hidden directly behind the 'wall' of the canopy (like basically the only opaque part of it) then when I saw it I was like "OH FUCK". Um oops.
My S&L was super sketchy I don't even. We did through to S&L2, and Liew KP gave me as much stick time as possible because he said Sortie 2 I didn't get enough. And yea I am prone to chasing instruments and I'm super unflexible with my attitude but must. Chill and get used to it la! I'm still nervous now I guess :/ I'm getting better at changing MAP though, like I get the numbers I WANT haha :D Um but on ground I either do too fast or too slow == Um I was! Not very happy with my S&L la basically. But the height we operated around wasn't too bad, the max deviation I got was around 40ft after I trim off, but then we turn here turn there I'll drift up and down. Sigh.
Also guys my taxiing has improved like MAD. My speed control still sucks but I can stay on the yellow line at least 80% of the time now! UM, GLEE. Also I managed to taxi into the parking shed without as much hesitation :D And yep managed to do after-landing and shutdown checks! BASICALLY: I HAVE MEMORISED ALL THE FUCKING CHECKS. Well at least almost! You won't believe how fucking happy I am about that omg. But yea besides HASSELL (which I don't understand! WHAT ARE YOU.) and downwind/finals checks (which we haven't been briefed for yet, the FRC just says 'as required' for everything what) I have memorised them all :D
But yea Liew KP said he was quite happy with what we did today! Yep :D And I'm happy too la. Liew KP also says I should be able to do take-off myself in 2 sorties' time UM I CANNOT WAIT. Basically like Sally said: I WANT TO TAKE OFF. :D
Also Liew KP has this thing about enjoying my sorties and um well I DO but also I get super nervous! When I got off the plane my legs were shaking lol goddamn. Actually idk maybe that was from. Taxiing o.o But yea.
(I owe RJ guy from SIM 4 and Sze Yin also lol they gave useful tips which I actually managed to remember! Yea thanks dudes although you will most likely never read this.)
UHHH YA I guess to my own expectations I... screwed up my flight lol. Um. Yeaa. Liew KP was being quite generous I think he wanted to pull down my grade for some things but he stared then he was like "... okay la" and just gave it to me eeek. But checks- and R/T-wise there is DEFINITE IMPROVEMENT on my part, taxiing too! Yep but now airmanship and control is sloppy and there's no way you can practise that so. AHHHH. Yea. Pray for my flights lol OTL
(Just saying like 15min before I had to report I suddenly got an anxiety surge like, while waiting for the bus and ughhh not a good feeling ): But yea.)
DUDES FANDOMZ.
KOUHAKU. EEK I will never get enough news about the piano and Sho playing it! This is perfect in so many ways. Um, in case you guys don't know, I LOVE SHO PLAYING PIANO. Not in the way I love Nino playing piano, but because Sho dropped piano ages ago when he was younger and came back to it, possibly because he's really found a connection with music through being an idol. (AND YOU GUYS SAY IDOLS DON'T LOVE MUSIC.) I love that he's going back to it, because it's a thing many people say they want to do but don't have the determination or time to. And this is going to be super touching.
I forever love the video of Sho playing Hatenai Sora on the piano (note to self: Beautiful World Tour extras) because it's so imperfect and he's really, really trying so hard. Sometimes fans (antis?) say that he's no longer trying, that he's full of himself, that he's fake, but whenever I watch that I feel faith return, because Sho is playing piano, and he screws up and he is distressed over that but he's trying really, really hard, and his bandmates are all incredibly supportive. I like piano-playing Sho (: A lot. ♥
(Also I realise maybe I'm having too high expectations, but I think Sho will exceed all of these. Because it's him, piano, and furusato.)

OKAY OKAY let us not talk fandom for now.
Left my house at 0638 today to see off Emeline! Um I missed my train at Toa Payoh because I went to the wrong side of the station, and I missed it by a FEW SECONDS. Then because I took the later train I missed the train at City Hall too! Yea I reached around 10min late and GOT LOST AT CHANGI AIRPORT.
Saw Emeline! Who was wearing very hipsterish clothing haha. Oh Emeline ♥ We'll miss you! Stood around waving at her and exchanging hugs. Come back and visit us dear ♥ (Also I am tempted to friend her on LJ but I'm awkward about this haha she doesn't know I know her LJ!)
So after that we set off for breakfast! Ate at Mac's and talked crap, then we toured around Changi like tourists because I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO CHANGI IN MY LIFE. Okay no I've gone TWICE but seriously lol. Took the skytrain (which was a bus) everywhere then after that headed to Marina Square to (window) shop! Ahhh I want so many clothes that are not within my budget lol. (Um guys I seriously seriously want the ADORE shirt from Miss Selfridge!) Also there was this cool store with vintage clothes! Like I didn't really like the clothes but they sold like models of airplanes and steam trains and ahhhh. Also there was this shop selling SNOWING CHRISTMAS TREES and a mini ice rink with figure-skating-figures! (SEE WHAT I DID THERE.)
Also we went to Times and me and Celine talked about books! We have the same habit of noting down books we want to borrow in our phone and going to check it on Goodreads lol (Y)
WENT TO KTV AFTER! Oh yea omg idek what to say but it was SUPER FUN HAHA. Party World is super cheap also but omg SO AWKWARD we were singing then the people would come in to like get drinks whatever AWKWAAARD. HAHA we were singing I Am the Best and dancing THEN THEY CAME IN WE WERE LIKE OH FUCK. Also haha singing KOREAN AND JAPANESE SONGS and half the time going "LALALALALLALLALA" lkdsjflsad. I love us.

Ugh I'm so upset rn. Fuck it was practically a fucking essay ughhh. Omg. I'm not going to blog fandom anymore I'm just upset because the rest of the stuff was just interesting but I didn't have too much to talk about it but the ones I did are gone. Ughhh.
Okay the most interesting fandom news of the day to me was that Sho's going to play Furusato on a piano that survived from Tohoku while Arashi sings on Kouhaku, and there is a MaruMoriKids-InoueMa-Arashi-Disney collab for Kouhaku. Cute and all.
ARGH I hate it when I spend a lot of time thinking about stuff and then I make a super long, thoughtful post and EVERYTHING DIES. Plus you really can't like, rewrite it it's different! Ughhh.
Main gist of things I posted about that are important to me ):
1) Sho and piano playing
I like how he's training piano again because he's found a connection to music and he's trying to revive his piano-playing. And I like that he's not perfect at it, because it clashes directly with his aura of perfection, and it's not a played-up fail but a genuine fail and he desperately doesn't want to do badly for piano. Also my headcanon where Nino is his piano teacher.
2) There was this Akimoto Yasushi interview and I was just talking about how much I respected him, and although he's a liar he has an image to keep up. And I liked how he and I respected Gaga both for her marketing. Also I liked the idea of AZN48. By extension I talked about AKB's documentary and how it was going to be perfect for the target audience and pull at heartstrings and play pathos and empathy games with the audience, and was the Never Say Never of AKB48. Then I mentioned a bunch of producers and people I respected (and begrudgingly respected) which included Akimoto Yasushi, Johnny-Julie-Mary-whoever, Max Mastuura, Lee Soo Man, and Park Ji Young.
3) And I talked about how I disliked the 'perfect idol' image and much more appreciated the 'hardworking humble idol' image because it was far more relatable and touching. Pathos is a tool. We should use it.
): I can't believe I lost all that. Ahhh. Also I spent super long organising what I wanted to blog about now I just closed everything in frustration sigh. Impulsive but it wasn't particularly interesting and it was mostly about dramas and music and that will appear again la. Oh wellz.

Um COULDN'T STOP LOOKING AT NINO SERIOUSLY. And idk it was... SO MANY COLOURS but so little to look at! It was just. Them dancing. In a very colourful box LOL but! Yea. I didn't really mind it though! Suits the song. But I didn't like that there was little to none eye-to-camera contact, and that their solo lines weren't paired with solo shots and they CONTINUED TO DANCE. (How is this going to be performed live o.o) Ohno's dancing is so smooth though gosh.
TBH THE DANCE LOOKS FUCKING HARD also I get the feeling they're still sketchy themselves over the dance like idk! Just. A feel. Ohno and Nino's solo lines scared me the most because they are seriously DANCING THROUGHOUT IT. Ohno's going to manage because he always does but Nino... lol he has breath control problems so. I love that part when they're 2-3 then they side step and Sho steps forward and it becomes 3-2 though!
Nino your wrists. Their transitions between formations are seriously fucking perfect though I love it. Also I'm realising it's not that I keep staring at Nino, it's that he's in the centre of the screen or front of the formation half the time? Even when he's suposed to be aligned with Ohno lol. They recycled moves from Monster I think? Haha -TOO MUCH OF A FAN-

Ohno's really, reeeeally smooth. Gosh. Also he's so tiny! And I love his look in this like there's nothing I could hate about it. So tiny gosh. Nothing much to say! It's a dance PV. Ohno's forte.
Um I demand that whoever coordinated Sho's clothes in the shiny part get fired. He's wearing a light blue cropped sweater over a white T-shirt and yellow pants. WHAT. Also is Sho freestyling during the rap or is that choreographed because lol DO NOT LIKE. I do like how his coat is so flowy in the box though! But those pants lol the waist. Omg what is with Sho-and-the-single-glove I LOVE IT keep doing this stylists. (Lotus had it too!) Omg at one point Sho almost crashes into the wall o.o Sho spends too much time in the back left corner! Needs more camera time. Also Sho really looks young in epilepsy land like 17? LIKE HE LOOKS LIKE 17YO SHO.
Also I just found out that they are, in fact, walking on treadmills. Or conveyor belts. Whatever. LOL it's not disguised even it's just moving plainly under the guise of too many technicoloured lights. At least now I know the purpose of the lights. You can tell when someone isn't keep pace HAHA he just SLIDES BACKWARD.
Aiba has this curved-back shot at the start which is gorgeous :D I think Aiba standing diagonally behind Nino makes their choreo look sloppy because he dances REALLY differently from Nino lol. Also Aiba looks great in the box. In epilepsy land I dislike his hair :/ But Aiba's body shape is perfect and the worst of clothes look good on him. LOL also I love how right after his solo line, they do this swivelling thing, and Aiba's hand is in the air but the next cut it's GONE. Like he SHOVES IT DOWN orrr they cut it there and retook LOL. I CAN'T GET OVER HOW HAPPY AIBA LOOKS WHEN HE'S DOING THE CLAPPING THING.
Um I'm going to do Nino next but I HAVE TALKED ABOUT HIM TOO MUCH idk I think it's the outfit my eyes keep getting drawn to him even though I don't want to look at him! I suspected the white sleeves but Jun's sleeves be white too. |: Nino's skirt matches his pants. I don't. Why. I CAN'T STAND HIS PUNKSTER FACE IN HIS FIRST SOLO SHOT LOL OH GOSH. So reminescent of early Nino. I love his stance during Sho's rap. Nino your shoulderrrrs. LOL Nino standing behind and between Jun and Aiba =/= good idea. He's so short also guys where can I get his jacket. Um he just. Hiked up his jacket while raising his arms and QUITE SEEMINGLY ON PURPOSE okay definitely on purpose he was holding it LOL. May I also know where to get his shirt. Okay yes things I haven't talked about: Nino's EYES in the last solo shot, his whole face is obscured but it's a beautiful shot because NINO'S EYES. And his ending pose, the curve of his leg! Um. Um um I always talk a lot about Nino but I just wanted to add that Nino convinces me that there is no such thing as 'gender-specific clothes'.
I really, really liked Jun's solo shots in this! Also love his outfit. Please bring the jacket-tied-around-waist back. Also his hair is nice! There are some moves in the choreo that suit Jun and Aiba super well because they're both long. Jun's dance in Sho's rap is like. Spasming though o.o Oh Jun has. One glove too! And a wrist cuff. I love wrist cuffs :D
Also guys their dancing styles are so different I can't. Jun and Ohno are technical dancers, but Aiba and Nino are, idk. Feel-based dancers? And Sho's stiff but, yea. It's why I look at them dance and I laugh about how they all look like they're doing different dances that have similar moves.
ANYWAY in general: it's an okay PV! I genuinely think it needs an epilepsy warning lol. Not their best. And I have a love-hate relation with their outfits LOL. And too many transitions and cuts! Like I watched it so many times I figured out where a lot of the cuts went and it's just. IN THE MIDDLE OF A LINE. Um. Well yea I didn't like it ALL THAT MUCH actually but I'd love to watch it live! I think the dance is genuinely hard though lol but maybe that's 'cos I DON'T DANCE. Um. There's just! A lot of things I don't like about it like the cacophony of rainbow-hued lights and excessive transitions that make the video choppy and unpleasant to view (I thought VLC was spasming at first) so yeaaa. But it was okay! Yep.

Went out today to fly kites!
Okay so was going to meet at City Hall at 1200 but SOME PEOPLE OVERSLEPT AND SPENT TOO MUCH TIME ONLINE, TSK. Haha so yea I trolled around, went to HMV WHICH WAS REPLACED BY NEW LOOK. Nooooooo. Singaporean physical music industry please keep afloat ;_; Anyway yea after that went to Guardian to hunt for nail hardener and Christina arrived! Celine arrived shortly after so we went to eat at The Soup Spoon! THIS TIME WE ALL FINISHED. Also we met CarTing there! Hehe super funny :D
Yep then went to take shuttle to Marina Barrage and flew our kites! Omg super cool haha okay flight forever remains one of the most fascinating things to me, so yea! But anyway WE WERE QUITE FAIL AT FIRST and super jealous of the other kites! Like we stand there pull at the string for 10 min then this guy comes over and within 2 seconds it's high up in the atmosphere. -FAIL- Also there was this guy with a GIANT OCTOPUS KITE SUPER CUTE but never saw it fly!
Also omg the sky super far away was getting blur, then Cheese was like "IT'S RAIN" and we were super fascinated and staring then SUDDENLY IT STARTED POURING and we were like OH OH GOD FUCK HAHAHAHHAHA RUNNNNNNN. SUPER COOL BUT IT FELT AWESOME :D
Then after that the rain stopped so we finished our overpriced food and went back to fly the kites again! Hehe this time we got it super high, ALL OF US :D Like way better than the first time haha. THEN THE RAIN HAPPENED AGAIN SO WE RAAAN.
After we got back I realised I lost my phone so I went to get it and it was in the rain but it didn't die! And yea THANKS CHEESE AND CELINE FOR HELPING ME ♥ Forever indebted ♥ Yea anyway when I got it back I couldn't press anything on my screen! But after that I cleaned it up and managed to get it to work, but after a vibration it would DIE so yea had to turn off all my vibrates so I'm kinda pissed now because I pretty much rely on it :/ But yea I'll. Deal la.
After that we decided to go shopping! Went to Somerset 313 to buy food and then to Forever 21, then to Mango and Esprit and basically just around la! Went to Orchard Central also but didn't do anything much there hehe then we were super tired so went home.

Um um guys js I never, ever used the word 'beautiful' to describe something until recently. I blog-searched the word 'beautiful' and was mildly alarmed and stunned that it's not a word I use frequently, in fact except in quotes and things like that I rarely say it at all. But I should. Because 1) life is a miracle, 2) the world is a beautiful place, and 3) I need to keep my eyes and my mind wide open. I have a belief that nothing in life is truly ugly, it just depends on which angle you look at it in, and that holds through not merely physically but also figuratively. So yes. I still use 'pretty' and 'gorgeous', because they're suitable, but I'm going to keep an open mind because life is a fucking beautiful place and I might as well admit to it. It's not unnatural for me to use the word at all, mind, but yea. ♥
Also gosh I love this. It did alarm me when I read what Ohno said, but I completely agree with the post. I guess it's because of the use of the term 'I suck', but I just. I love Ohno. And all the rest of them. They're so humble and sweet. And they were all just really, normal people, individuals who had no relation to each other, thrown as if by random into this situation, where seeming coincidences happened and chance after chance pieces together to bring them where they are now. Just saying φ is phi which represents the golden ratio. Even if they didn't know this when they christened it Lφve Rainbow I still love it. Anyway won't flail much but haha I KNOW I LOVE THIS SONG AND I KNOW HALF THE DANCE FROM PLAYING IT ON REPEAT WHILE I DO HOMEWORK, OKAY. And 七色のフレーズ is one of my favourite phrases (LOL), it actually got time on one of my foolscap pads before :D

HAHA okay not the style I was expecting. They were serious when they said this was going to be a techno album o.o even if Love Rainbow and Dear Snow are in this. Jun's voice doesn't suit this. Or most techno I think. Omg Nino sounds good SHIT I HAVE GOOSEBUMPS. Aiba's voice fits, strangely. Sho's voice is good with this too. HAHA OHNO AND SUDDENLY THERE'S SO MANY EFFECTS. Arashi never change. Idk if it's bias but I LOVE NINO'S VOICE IN THIS. Omg the clapping in the chorus I am compelled to clap along. HAHA the chorus is so different from the verse I can't. But it's still distinctly techno though. Jun's "whoa whoa" was nice though! He needs to open his voice more he sounds amazing with it open. Gosh Aimiya sound amazing together. Hmm it's not very, like, WOW-inducing though. I guess that's why I can focus so hard on their voices and not just flail lol. I'm glad my earphones work otherwise I can't appreciate the panning in this. Okay entry to last chorus sounds amazing. I know the words to the chorus already! WHAT. My requirement for Jun solos: ALWAYS BE RAINBOW AND FABULOUS. The title makes me think of the solo style of his I don't like tho :/ OMG HAHAHHA SHIT I LOVE IT. The effects at the start though omg. Wow they layered his voice like 20 times on itself. SHIT HAHA I LOVE IT. It's not really like anything he's done! It's like fun but with a bit of cool in it. Like, not trying too hard! Omg shit "DANCE DANCE DANCE!" Omg I can't help bopping to this I love this I would stand and dance if my brother wouldn't side-eye me. SHAKE IT SHAKE IT. Okay I love this, and it fits super well with the album's feel too. HAHA OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG FABULOUS. There was this like, rap-singing part, then THERE WAS THE CLINK OF A GLASS ON THE TABLE, AND JUN EXHALED LIKE HE JUST GULPED DOWN THE BEST FUCKING COCKTAIL OF HIS LIFE. HAHA THE "SHAKE IT SHAKE IT" PART IS SO LULZY THOUGH BUT I LOVE IT. Only Jun would make me actually want to dance with that. OMG OF SEKAI HITOTSU DAKE NO HANA AND THAT IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONGS oh my god. Okay just the first line but omg I'm smiling so hard I can't. Haha what is that "nananana" in the back. Okay guys as you all know I have fallen in love with this song ever since they performed it live on Music Station and it was one of the most beautiful things I witnessed last year. Or was it this. I don't know. One of these years. So yea it's one of those songs I will replay repeatedly on my iPod now. It's one of the more beautiful ballads la basically! ♥

Um I hope it is fucking hot and sexy and I will see a live like Song For Me again. I want it to be simultaneously vocally impressive (a la Take me Faraway) and yet amazing to dance to (like Top Secret), basically. I really, really love Song for Me's live. Omg is that SHO RAPPING. OH YES IT IS I REMEMBER SHO WROTE A RAP FOR THIS. Omg I want this live with Sho rapping too omg. It will be amazing. Shit I can see Ohno dancing like a boss to this already. Omg his voice. It's so strong and rich shit he really shows his potential in his solos. Fuck. His voice. Okay yes this is def going to be visually amazing when he does this live. HE SAID "SUPER SOUL" OMG. ♥ PLEASE. ALSO HE SAID "OH MY GOD" HAHA FUCK. The chorus is so... :/ Lacking though. Omg I keep hearing other Arashi member's voices in each person's solo. Gosh okay his voice sounds amazing but it's not very like, vocally impressive impressive. Omg is that beatboxing I hear. Haha obviously not Arashi but! I KEEP EXPECTING SHO TO BURST OUT WITH A RAP but was it just him in the background? Oh god I love him saying 'super soul' and 'oh my god' though. Also he said "give me a chance" like "give me a chair". The live is going to be amazing though I can feel it. Okay no Sakurap but yeaa.

HAHA it's the street style again. Sho? Omg he sounds good. A lot of the verses in this album are forgettable. The chorus lol "C'MON CLAP HANDS" HAHA. OKAY. This isn't very Joyish. Although they say 'Joy'. Oh gosh I really like Sho's voice here. Sho has a really nice texture when he goes very low and deep and very high and light. But in between it's just, okay, but he's hitting those nice parts and I love the timbre of his voice there. Omg finally a Sakurap that's not masked by layers and layers of effects. Well still have la but a lot less. But it was... a not-very-impressive rap. I don't really like this song I think it feels too... disposable lol. But I still love Sho's voice here, and who is doing that note! It didn't sound like anyone except maybe Jun but it's not Jun. I'm bopping to this far less enthusiastically lol yeaaa. Least favourite so far? They sound so disinterested.
10. Doko ni Demo Aru Uta. [NINOMIYA KAZUNARI SOLO]
Well I can never expect with Nino's solos because he experiments and he's versatile but I already know this is a ballad. ALSO GUYS, the title of this is actually 'どこにでもある唄。' Fullstop inclusive. I really love this guy ;_; My bias already makes me love it lol and I haven't even heard it. HEARING IT NOW. Omg my heart caught shit. The piano ;_; Nino needs to stop giving me goosebumps he's not that good a singer but his voice suits ballads amazingly. I don't like his voice in this as much though. Okay okay his voice just suddenly got softer (texture-wise) it's much better now haha. Omg shit SHIT falsettos. Guys and falsettos are my major weakness. Okay I seriously have goosebumps everywhere now. Everytime he hits a falsetto I can't. I don't really like it though, as of yet. Didn't strike me like the rest of his solos. Omg okay okay suddenly a lot more instruments got involved in the song. Was that whole thing an intro it felt very much like 2 verses and a chorus. Omg okay his voice blends in way better now. His voice is super nice when it gets airy gosh. I never was able to pinpoint his best range but when he hits it he sounds amazing. But it's not my favourite solo of his! And not in this album. I actually like Shake it! better. Also parts of this sound super generic lol but yeaa. The bridge is not in a good range for him. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. The ending. Okay omg he said "hora" a capella and now I want to take it all back. Okay fuck the end chorus omg. MY EYES ARE WET this needs to stop. Oh gosh. Fuck why do you open your voice at the last moment! Okay emotions. I am fucking emotional now okay. Okay haha shit. Um. I don't know. A lot of feelings rn. My Nino flails are always so long I have my player paused just to type lol. Okay I'm replaying it and now I have ~*feelings*~ the moment it plays HAHA. Idk if this is bias talking but omg that last part. Okay but I stil think that his voice isn't perfect in the middle parts, but omg I am so emotional suddenly haha fuck. Okay magically affected by Nino. This isn't uncommon at all actually. OKAY FUCK I am actually really trying hard not to cry when he says 'hora' now. Like basically it's so perfect after the bridge I'm okay with the rest of the song. Um. HAHA oh gosh Nino ♥ Okay okay. The "bokura ga" gosh. And his "zutto, zutto, zutto" gosh gosh. And the piano that cascades suddenly with percussion okay. OKAY going to stop.

Omg omg I like it. Okay suddenly there were techno sounds HAHA but it reminds me of Mukae ni Iku yo and I LOVE THAT SONG. Also Ohno's voice so silky mmm. Oh gosh this album makes me bop so much. Oh gosh the chorus is perfect. It's like, oldish and 武侠剧esque but it's also gorgeous and amazing! Ahhh. I like this a lot. HAHA the techno parts don't really destroy it, I'm just paying too much attention to them. Omg the percussion at the end of Jun's line. Nino sounds good here gosh. Okay I definitely, definitely like this. Okay I don't really like the bridge that much, but the verses and chorus more than make up for it. Omg the instrumental break is gorgeous. I am awaiting Arashi's epic entrance. HAHA YES. I like this! I love this style of music gosh. I love this :D
12. Lotus [SINGLE]
Well I've talked too much about how absolutely perfect this is. Or more of how absolutely perfect its MV is LOL. I love the entire feel of this song haha. I also can sing most if not all of it. Although I never did understand the excessive use of autotune, I mean to get an effect is okay, but to completely alter voices? Have I ever mentioned how amazing Ohno's voice is? I feel the need to repeat. Ohno's voice = perfection. 誰も知らない ストーリ始まる.
13. "Jyanakute" [AIBA MASAKI SOLO]
So I generally like happy bouncy Aiba solos like Hello Goodbyem but I heard this is a ballad and because Aiba's so sincere I love his ballads as well (Namida no Nagareboshi ♥) so yeaaa. LOL WHAT THIS IS NOT A BALLAD? Um I may have remembered wrongly. I AM REMINDED OF CLOWNS. HAHA I AM BOPPING WHAT. Okay I may have confused fandom speculation for fact. Oh shit Aiba's voice works here. HAHA he said the title. I love this ♥ HAHA THE CHORUS OMG SO FUNKY. Omg it's v different from his usual style though, but his voice totally works this. No one else could do this seriously. It's more rapsinging than singing though, and not rappy enough to be rapping. I like the feel and the beat but idk it's a bit lacky! Like, I would not like this except it's Aiba so I do. Hmmm. But I guess you could say this means it's a perfect solo for him. Omg is that saxophone in the background. I never saw Aiba play sax but I'D LOVE TO. The bridge is just instrumental! Would die if he played sax though but obviously not good for him. HAHA yea I like this :D Just not too much. THE ENDING IS PERFECT LOL.

Omg okay NOT A STYLE I EXPECTED. Omg I want to play this song on DJ Max it sounds like it would be fucking epic on it. Omg did I say any track before this misused autotune o.o Okay no la effect I guess? Ohno sounded amazing though. And their voices are back to normal! Omg the "tsuzukete" sounded amazing. "TO THE LIGHT TO THE LIGHT TO THE MORNING LIGHTTTT" HAHA NOT WHAT I EXPECTED THIS TO SOUND LIKE. Omg OHNO'S WHOAING ♥ Fuck Ohno's voice. Um guys I fucking love this song. Everytime I hear it I have to start swaying and singing. I didn't really like it the first time I heard it, but it's really grown on me and gosh. Their whispering lines! Um I am liveblogging now but ahh. NANI MO KAZARAZU, SONO MAMA DEEEE. I love this song because it was helping me through a rough period, and I found parallels in the song and my life, and songs which help me through a period always have a special place in my heart. 太陽よりきらめくから。 ♥ OHNO'S "TO BE FREE". NINO'S SCREAM. Ahhhhh ♥ I always hear his "whoa" from Msute in my head even if it's not actually in the track (: Okay I am full on jamming to this rn kdsjalksj LOVE.

Um I love Sakurai Sho solos which are not uncomfortable to watch and are him being too hot or being amazing and happy and bouncy (HIP POP BOOGIE FTW). LOL THIS IS. NOT EXPECTED. Strings! Love! Okay omg it sounds like. An Arashi song not a Sho solo? Omg fuck Sho keep rapping and talking about heartbeats please. Sho's voice makes me smile oh god -buries face in hands- Now he's singing! Omg. Not his usual style! I love the electronic beeping in the back though, it's nice! Omg the chorus is fucking awesome. Although that's not a note in his range, no. Um okay so. If I had to choose a favourite song. negai, I suppose, because I really, really like the styling of the song. The album in general's pretty okay, but it's not a style I hope they'll pursue because it's very hit-or-miss, and I suppose I probably only like all this because I AM A HUUUGE FAN. And I can see all the tiny references they throw everywhere so! But I still liked that they experimented, it's very cool that they did and it's interesting to see :D
I really, really like Rock This as well, and I LOVE NIJI NO KAKERA ~NO RAIN, NO RAINBOW~ BECAUSE IT SOUNDS AMAZING. So yea those and negai, top 3 faves I think, no contest about that. The title track was okay la. Not AMAZING but I liked it! My least favourite would be Joy. And possibly Tooku Made because it just didn't impress me. And possibly always? Yep.
Solos... Idk I felt like. Hmm experimenting DEFINITELY, but. Idk. I liked Shake It!, definitely, and I love Doko Demo ni Aru Uta. Hung Up On will probably kill me live, but I didn't really like Sho's solo! Aiba's was okay, but I didn't really like the style. Hmmm. Yep. Nino, Jun, Ohno, Aiba, Sho. In this order. (I am super biased lol but Doko ni Demo Aru Uta is so much perfection. Also Nino wrote and composed it!) But still I must say I LOVE THEM ALL and Sho's solo is basically saved by the fact that he said things my heart reacts to, but killed because I didn't like the sound and his voice with it.
I THINK THE ALBUM IN GENERAL WAS KINDA WEIRD because there's Mada Minu Sekai He and WELL FUCK EVERYTHING LET'S GET DANCING and then there's Love Rainbow right after. Um. Like the singles' styles were so vastly different from the album tracks it kind of misbalanced. Also I guess the solos were so different from usual to suit the album but then Nino writes his own tracks. So yea. It was. A weird combination in the end? Yeaa.
Everyone someone keeps turning up my blog with a Google search about the use of autotune in Jin's Seasons? Um, yes, it exists, and IMHO it kind of ruins an otherwise perfect song because it was excessive. A dead-gorgeous ballad like that doesn't need autotune!
Omg Nino's voice didn't give me goosebumps in always for no reason Nino your voice is so fucking smooth at the right strength and range I wish you guys underwent professional training for this so Jun can open his voice and Sho can expose his best range and take advantage of it or widen it and Aiba and Ohno are generally perfect except maybe Aiba could work on his vocal strength but gosh.
They're not great singers, but they're not bad singers, they can hold a note but I just wish they knew how to handle their voices better.

Anyway I woke up today feeling super sick. I still feel kinda sick. I woke up at like 1200, stomachache and leg cramping, then I kind of hoboed around groaning and bitching. I lay on my sofa and tried to find the least painful position, you know the position that sets all your muscles right so the pain is elevated the most? Yeaa. THEN I FELL ASLEEP FOR ONE HOUR LOL. So yea slept from 1400 to 1500 (AND TO THINK I JUST WOKE UP MERELY 2 HOURS AGO) and my mom came home with lunch lol. Lunch at 1500 (Y) So yea took lunch and then my brother conjured Avatar: The Legend of Aang on his laptop so we spent like, a few HOURS WATCHING THAT HAHA. And yea now I'm blogging before dinner on my brother's laptop! Um, blogging before dinner is like a first for me this year LOL but yeaaa.
Also um went online on my phone to amazing news, my e-mail was completely filled and yea (:
I think fandom-wise I'm already doing much better, I was all "I AM A BALL OF WRACKED NERVES AND MAYBE SOME WRECKED ONES AS WELL PLEASE PRETEND I DO NOT EXIST" but now I'm just. Comfortable. Basically I've spent a lot of time around fandom and while I'm scared shitless sometimes, there are people I know there, and I'm comfortable and happy there. Well, mostly happy. I just found out from Vivian Chow that Emeline's leaving the country to study next year. Or rather, end of this year. Wednesday. I don't. I don't really know how to feel about this.
I have a lot of feelings about this and I really don't know how to phrase it but. I'm not going to delude myself into saying that we were really close friends, we were friends and we had our laughs, we had similar interests and inside jokes and things we tease each other about like all other friends do. We weren't really close friends, just friends. But.
When I first heard that she was considering leaving the country, around the middle of this year, I don't think I was as affected as I am now, I was momentarily stunned, but later we were told that she wasn't really going ahead with it. And I guess that's why the shock is greater now, because she said she wouldn't go but she's leaving in 3 days. I think over the last few months we've gotten to know each other better and now, now it's affecting me.
I'm just very torn about this. We may not have been the closest of friends, but I don't think you need to be close friends to feel at a loss when you find out someone's leaving. And I really feel lost right now. I mean we've really talked a lot, about everything, and I'm just.

IF I DEBUTED IN SHOWBIZ I'd be an idol. I don't think idoling is the easy way out, being an idol is fuck hard. You need to have the personality and the mannerism, and plus idols get tons of work, they sing dance act go on variety shows, etc. Idols may be talents but they get waaay too much work. Also I crazy love how seiyuus in Japan get so much love and respect, and also how announcers are really respected as well not like in Singapore where we only know Dong Su Hua because she wins the damned best news announcer award every year. Gravure, though. Half the big idols of now started from gravure, but I haven't seen any gravure idols debuting recently. Maybe it's dying.

I am prepared to be underwhelmed because I was so unimpressed by the previews sigh. Okay their legs though. Raina's voice is super nice here omg. Kahi doesn't have a flair for languages sorry haha. Omg what are their skirts lol. The mike setup is so cheap I can't even. Um I. Really dislike the chorus. I can't tell what language it's in lol. ALSO NOW IT'S JUST LALALA. Okay Avex damn you lazy. WHAT ARE RAMBLING GIRLS. Omg Jungah's rapsinging isn't bad at all. I guess the PV is somewhat acceptable because Korea's about the dancing (one of the reasons Kpop was never my thing) and boring PVs let you see it, but tbqh the dancing isn't extremelyamazing here either. Also their outfits look terribly uncomfortable. Okay no the rap thing with Jooyeon and UEE is. No. Lol. Kahi's tattoos look amazing here, with the wristband. Jungah looks amazing this PV omg. Her hair and her stare. Tbh the only reason this song and PV could even slightly work is because After School have the aura to pull it off. They look amazing and they fill with their presence and the "stand and make like models" thing only works because of that too. But yea :/ Don't like this. Where's Because of You in Japanese! That I want to see.

AIBA'S BIRTHDAY♥
Woke up, went for SIM 4 at SYFC! Saw Sally, who was going for Sortie 3 although she hadn't gone for Sim 4 o.o Um, I went in and a bunch of PPL people were there and after that Mr. Hi chased them off and let me fumble around. This RJ PPL guy was monitoring me do checks and he gave me tips for stuff, especially since he had the same primary instructor (: Then yea I got nervous and forgot stuff (FUCKING FUEL PUMP) as usual, but omg taxiing felt amazing I was actually good at it! I was always a few cm off the line but I kept in straight lines and I didn't overturn, FUCKING PROUD. I'm finally getting the hang of it gosh. Climbing and descending was terrible lol I was super nervous and I'm really losing my grip on the control column (pun not intended) and yeaaa. Plus the PPL people put turbulent flight so the wind was like, 40 knots and going in 2 directions!? 'Cos it was Cat 1, a bunch of PPL people came in after that and they were all standing around watching me fly so super fucking nervous haha. Also they were trolling me LOL but screw that. But um yes super nervous la but. I'll deal? ):?
After I got home, I changed and decided I AM GOING TO CLEAN UP MY FUCKING STUDY OR I WILL DIE. So I grabbed everything off my shelf and THREW IT TO THE FLOOR. I figured the only way I was going to clean my room was if it was so fucking messy I couldn't stand it. One shelf of stuff on the floor really does the trick lol. SO ANYWAY I spent like 4 hours in there clearing up stuff and GOSH MY ROOM IS SO CLEAR NOW I can't wait to finally clear my table and then file away all the excess stuff I have :D
Anyway all my fandom stuff is properly packaged into plastic bags and then shelved up to prevent accumulation of dust (ikr anal) EXCEPT the Popolo Claire got me for my birthday, which is frustrating. I'm going to fina an A4 plastic bag to put it in because 1) I don't want it to be dirty!!! and 2) EVERYTHING ELSE ON MY SHELF FACES RIGHT EXCEPT FOR THE MAGAZINE BECAUSE IT'S JAPANESE UGH so yea!
I'm stealing my mom's A4 boxes from the office to store stuff lolll. My life. Anyway it's almost clear now so SUPER HAPPY :D
Also just saying Part Cs, I love you guys, just to make that clear, but why do you insist on giving me cards that are too big to fit in my shelf? Just saying.
Yep so yeaaa that was. My Aiba's birthday. Quite a good use of my time, if I'd say so myself!

Went to my cousins' for a Christmas gathering! Um I love my family -cheesey- so yea even though I do have a tendency to get bored with my extended family (I'm kind of 16, everyone else is >5 years older than me or >5 years younger than me) but I really do like spending time with them. We bitch and complain but in the end we're family la (:

SO YEA. My Christmas eve/Aiba's birthday and Christmas :D It's boxing day right now!
Okay yes I'm going to watch MSSL soon because it never feels like Christmas until I watch MSSL, and um basically FANDOM SHIT IS GOING DOOOWN and basically I need to be on LJ to keep my shit together rn. And on DW. And tumblr on the same time. Basically, JE fandom's scattered, and we're never going to find our way back to one solid site now. The initial jump to DW (which, may I add, has been going on since 2 years ago, increased after Shiokku got banned, and is going crazy NOW) was okay, the tumblr-shift was okay because people stayed on LJ for the text, and now. I don't even know what's happening oh gosh. I'm definitely staying on LJ for the comms, like I mentioned, plus DW will never let Arama import all of it over, but. Ahhhh.
I'm just kind of frazzled, tbh. And for fandom! Ugh, what a waste of my time. Except it's not. FANDOM'S WHERE I LIVE. ;kfj;lkjdfa;lkfa.
