I am really, really scared by Grotesque right now and I daren't read Kazue's journal. It's scary how Nastuo can make me slowly realise things and get them to creep under my skin. When the... fuck I don't even know her name! The narrator, told Yurio that she looked just like Yuriko, and people always told her she was pretty like her sister. My skin crawled. I knew since Yuriko's diary that the story took on the form of the unreliable narrator style, but I wasn't aware of exactly what was unreliable, because she was still our sole narrator for most of it. But when Mitsuru came in and became the ultimate, ultimate bitch. Just, wow.
Also it's scary because I see a bit of... UGH WHY DON'T I KNOW YOUR NAME you are from now on Hirata Anon. Okay yea I see a bit of her in myself. It's. Kind of creepy. But we're so alike. Even the way we portray ourselves versus the way we act in private. It scares me.
I'm really, really scared. I don't want to see what Kazue says, about herself or about Hirata Anon or even Mitsuru. I'm scared as fuck. Oh gosh. I'll blog about the book in more detail another day, definitely, but for now I just don't want to proceed onto the next part of the book.
(Also: there are so many typoes in the book! I got so confused here and there sigh.)
Another thing: I just. I had this sudden realisation that I'm 17, which happens often, but I'm 17. One more year and I'll be 18, another 3 after that and I'll be 21, an adult, and yet. I don't really know how to say this, because I don't want to say that I'm living in a little fantasy of my own but I am. It's somewhat more than something just made in my mind, and now I'm beginning to sound like a schizophrenic. It's just. Something that's become increasingly tangible for me, and I think it's childish and stupid but I can't let it go. In a sense, it's part of me now. But it's oh so stupid. Sigh.

I heard it in Stand Up!! and it was the first time I actively searched for it, but it's genuinely one of Hikki's most famous songs and the moment I heard it I had this moment of "oh, ohmygod, THIS SONG" and I went to search it up. It's gorgeous.
Also Laruku is confirmed (OR RUMOURED NO ONE REALLY KNOWS) to be hitting SINGAPORE INDOOR STADIUM on 28.04.2012! Oh gosh guys I SERIOUSLY WANT TO GO DAMMIT.

PRACTICALLY TIME TO GET THEIR NAMES RIGHT ME THINKS. It's some. HIGH TECH THING LOL. I'm watching a like, weird version of it so there's a mad border it's DISTRACTING. Oh these girls. They've improved a lot in their dancing! Omg the border is SOME ANIME LOL. Omg I love their outfits. HAHA IT'S SUPER OUT OF SYNC TOO. The swiping to the side thing was cool! HEY I QUITE LIKE IT. I will never escape Kpop sigh. I can't bring myself to catch up on Kpop guys! Idec about my youtubers anymore. JPOP♥ Thank god this PV isn't like, 15min long. They're actually speaking Japanese! Most of them sound quite natural with this! HAHA THEY'RE SO 80'S. Um I kinda know Roly Poly ridiculously well so this is def gonna sound weird. HAHA YES IT IS but it translated quite well! If you didn't tell me I may not have known! Omg I LOVE THE DANCE. They kept "molla" D: HAHA OKAY THEY CHANGED THE NEXT ONE IT WAS QUITE WEIRD. The chorus is a little weird! They upped the background to 'fill in' the song I think. The bass is a little weird but I'm actually kinda okay with it! THIS MAKES ME WANT TO DANCE. Hey I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS. T-ARA does well right? HAHAHA FUCK THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE RAP AT ALL UNFORTUNATELY. But yea it translated surprisingly well! I love the stupid stage tho loool. I never actually WATCHED Roly Poly - fucking 15 min long PVs, I DON'T HAVE THE TIME FOR YOU okay I do but shhh - so I can't compare the quality, but song-wise Korean's definitely better but the Japanese wasn't bad :D

THIS IS THE. CONTROVERSIAL ONE HAHA. I only recognise like Matsui Jurina from this. Ahh she caught a lesbian couple kissing. HER FACE. Better kiss scene than in dramas, honestly LOLOL. AHH THEIR DANCING. SKE48's dancing is eons ahead of AKB, I personally think, but their voices lol they're high pitched here. Again. Was it them that stopped last PV? Or was that SDN. Too much 48. OKAY THAT WAS JUST BLATANT MOLESTATION YOU DON'T DO THAT NO MATTER YOUR GENDER. I like the choreo, they're spunky! WHAT WHY DID 2 CARS JUST CRASH LOL. The effect was kinda cool though, vaguely ethereal when they were caught in the headlights. The field scene is gorgeooous. HAHAHAHA they were in a club and were totally making sex eyes at each other. OHHH. IMPLICATIONS OF NOT-JUST-EYES. Haha tbh though besides the obvious fetishing (it is very fetishing lol) this is a form of publicity and can be interpreted to be an activist thing, so. Omg FRANCE. Avenue des Champs-Elysses! Okay the rustic setting, I'm already attracted! I absoltely love 48family PVs, this is something I've definitely mentioned. They speak English! Omg. Is that kid a ghost. His English is REALLY heavily accented. WOW. OH no he's just living in a black and white world! Also it's off 'cos they speak diff languages and understand each other. Also her bandmates are made of PHOTOS, even better. Ahh it's high pitched again but not as bad as Katamoi! OMG SO CUTE. THEIR OUTFITS! OMG. IT'S REALLY CUTE HAHA. OH she's going around bringing COLOUR TO EVERYONE'S LIVES :D LITERALLY HAHA. I love how hard Akimoto pushes Jurina and Reina. It's hilarious. Hey the rusticness of the setting is gone! SKE does suit the happy thing though, the way they dance! So much energy. THERE IS CONVERSATION BUT IT'S AWK HAHA like the song plays in the bg and it doesn't really match! Also Jurina is just STARING at people and they will colour HAHA IT'S ODD. The perm doesn't suit her face lol. Omg their dresses are so perfect for this PV I am just. Their formations! Ahhhh. I remember when we used AKB for FSD inspiration because they change formations incredibly well. They're all so smiley! I liked this haha it's popppy but it didn't make my ears hurt! Mask - Aqua Timez
OH it's the ED for Bleach lol. GUYS I LOVE AQUA TIMES OMG I don't catch up with them but they're so good. Omg the vocalist, I'll never get over his timbre, it's super unique, and the way he raps! His voice texture doesn't suit rapping, but he makes up for it with rhythm and speed. I love how they have a keyboardist instead of 2 guitarists! And that keyboardist is a SHE. They have a very unique band makeup in general la. Omg the PV. MAGNIFYING GLASSES, MIRRORS, AND TYPOGRAPHY. Okay way to spice up a PV without excessive CGI. But they do use CGI HAHA AND EXCESSIVELY AS WELL but that was a great touch, it made it interesting and strange to look at through something creative. Omg I love how everyone on the instrumentals is just HEADBANGING. Even the girl hunched over the keyboard YES IT LOOKS AWKWARD but she's into it. This instrimental solo felt a bit lacking but! Ahhh. The bridge. Aqua Timez is amaaaazing. OMG the drums are super pretty! They're deep blue fade to white, and it looks amazing! AHHH.

I like Alice Nine too! Omg the PV is kind of. His voice is so rich and deep but he has the face of. Of. A JAPANESE VKEI VOCALIST LOL and his mouth is barely open. But yea Alice Nine is great, their vocalist is great! Abd b/w PVs with them walking around buildings? Yea, I can appreciate, even if slightly boring. They don't give the vocalist excessive screen time too! Ahh it just kicked in. The covalist is Shou. AHH I can headbang to this. Admittedly I liked the feel of the slow intro better. And now they're just rocking in a room with the blue filteres turned to high. Omg they made the screen and song freeze in the middle of a line and IT WAS AWK AS FUCK was it intentional!? Omg Shou's smile is attractive. OMG HAHA THE GUITARIST JUST WINDMILLED HIS ARM. LIKE. TO PLAY. WHUT. Omg that. The instrumental solo. A bit too much going on, I think, but okay. I think Alice Nine's style is very distinctive... lol you can. Think of that as you wish. When I hear an Alice Nine song I'll know it's by them la. Ahh they're slowing down again. Ahh I like the instrumental solo here better. Not about the messiness or speed but about coordinated instruments filling in and around for each other. The drummer is ATTRACTIVE. And I feel like I'm ignoring all the music I find but HAHA. Idek. Maybe there should be a music heading. Like "music: album" BUT THEN THAT SCREWS WITH MY ARASHI STUFF.
